As a gift for my nephew this hand puppet was perfect. I had read that some users were saying it was way too small for normal hands. I am an adult male with normal sized hands and I did not have any issues with using it. The quality was great for a simple puppet. I would recommend this puppet to others.

I love this Puppet!!. I read a lot of the reviews and I got kinda worried, but I'm happy to say that it's a very well made Puppet. I know some have been having trouble with the mouth, I don't know if the manufactures fixed it or not, but mine had no such problem. I'm an adult and I have pretty wide hands but not very long fingers, so maybe that's why? (I really don't know). You can also control Elmo's arms, but if you're looking to put on a a quality Puppet Show, don't even bother with them, it makes Elmo look like he's constipated. One thing that surprised me that I didn't think I would even notice or give a second thought to; a few reviewers said it was very soft, and I have to say, Oh wow it's very very soft indeed, and feels very comfortable when on the hand. One little nit pick though, I looked a little inside the Puppet and the stitching aground the mouth seems like its to thin and could pop, now with that said, I know nothing about sowing so take that with a grin of salt, it does seem to be stitched twice so maybe that helps in some way. So with all that said, this is a great Puppet and I recommend you get off the fence and get this NOW!

My granddaughter loves the Elmo puppet! Grandma loves to give her a love, a hug and a tickle with the puppet. She giggles, rolls over on him and even sucks on the gigantic eyeballs! It is made well and will fit up to a very large man's hand. I have a smaller woman's hand and it is a little too large for me, but I have figured out the best way to have a good fit, with a smaller hand, is to fold the body of Elmo vertically in the middle and then put my fingers where they belong to make the Elmo puppet come to life! Works great!

We got this for my son's 1st birthday since he loves Cookie Monster. He was over joyed when he first seen it and loves when we put the puppet on his hand. It is really good quality. As some have mentioned it's hard to move the mouth and arms at the same time, so you have to choose one or the other. Either way we are glad we bought it!!

The puppet is great quality, nothing will rip this puppet. But I also want to give Cookie every credit for getting my toddler to try brushing his teeth. Every night I would slip Cookie into my hand, then take my toothbrush, I would do a bad impression of Cookie's voice and go..."I like brushing teeth after eating cookies!!" and would open his mouth and I would pretend to brush Cookie's teeth/mouth. The kiddo laughs and then copies and does the same.

This thing helped potty train my stubborn toddler. Our son would listen to Elmo and do anything Elmo said. He talks to Elmo all the time now, and sometimes puts Elmo on his own hand to "read" books to himself. We've also successfully put Elmo through the washer/dryer a couple times (in a washing bag).

My nephew loves this puppet! The only complaint I have is, you can't work his mouth and arms at the same time. (you just don't have enough fingers!!! Lol!!!) He's a great size, though, to throw in a diaper bag and take him everywhere with us. As a parent, I love how much a puppet makes everyone interact. I prefer them to regular stuffed animals!!

My daughter loves it. It fits in my hand and moves great. We washed it once and the hair got a little bit ugly but it's still in good shape to keep playing.

My husband wanted this to be cookie monster for my sons sesame street party and it was perfect. He could munch cookies in its mouth which is the truly important thing. We keep it in a drawer and my son finds it and gives it to daddy to make cookie monster come to life and its adorable.

Ok, I purchased this as a gift for someone but I actually contemplated buying one for myself, too! I resisted, but..... It's super cute and I still wouldn't turn this down if it arrived in my mail box with my name on it! Who doesn't love Cookie Monster? He's always been my favorite character from Sesame Street and this puppet was really a well-made little fuzzy replica of the old monster. His eyes were attached really well and my hand fit nicely in his mouth when I wanted to make him "talk". It's a kids toy, but I'm sure all ages would enjoy this guy!
