Still Going Strong

Everything I've loved about this series is still going strong in this book. In fact, it just gets better. I recently experienced a death in the family and experienced some very strange events and coincidences that make me believe it's possible real life and the afterlife may actually work the way they seem to in these stories. This series has made me look at things in a different way and in doing so, brought me comfort and even joy in my time of loss of my beloved mother-in-law. I think I've got my own mischievous Marie haunting me. I really do enjoy Eva and Marie. They're delightful. Kelly is so wonderfully annoying. She got on every last nerve I had. She's perfect for Joe. The series would not be the same without those two doofuses. I really enjoyed them both being so nosy and meddlesome. I loved Lily's reaction to her sister-in-law. Danielle had a great moment with her, too. You can't have everyone be lovable all the time. But you don't want characters who are close to the lead characters to be people you're going to hate. Kelly and Joe manage to tread that delicate line of being interestingly flawed without being people you're going to hate. They're good people, just annoying. Max brought a tear to my eye. Max and Sadie and Hunny and Bella are always a joy. I'm still in love with the police chief. He's not in this story that much, but he's a scene stealer when he is. I adore Heather. She's as unique as always. Chris is a dear. I keep hoping someday Sparks will fly between him and Heather. The wedding was written in a way that reminded me how fragile and hopeless this romance seemed only a few books ago. Well done.

wonderful

I am enjoying this well written series. Walt and Danielle and their entire community of friends are a wonderful place to visit on a weekend. I love the maturity of the main characters, and the overall feeling of rationality and common sense that permeates the stories. I also appreciate that the story never intrudes on the private lives of the characters. The characters are real enough that specific descriptions of private intimacies would feel like spying on friends in the bedroom-- yick. The author does an excellent job of sketching their closeness without intruding; after all, we're the ghosts looking in on them :-). I recommend this series without any reservations.

Wedding, surprises and friends and family

Danielle Boatman and Walt Marlow are counting the days till they can be “officially” married. What mystery will two guests bring to Marlow house? Thorns in Walt (Clint) side are sisters Claudia and Rachel Dane , Claudia has a secret regarding Clint Marlow. Dirk and Tonya Troupe also have a secret, and while not staying at Marlow House Albert Hanson. Why are these individuals in town? The biggest surprise is Lily being pregnant. When Kelly sees Danielle buy a pregnancy test, it’s hilarious how Kelly, Joe and Brian think its Danielle pregnant and when she drinks coffee or wine, they tell her not to. I love having Marie and Eve spying on the sisters and Troupe’s. Once again all of Danielle’s friends are protective and the author brings a real sense of friendship and family in the story. I love this series and hope we the reading audience are in for many more stories.

Just when you think it can't get better, it does!!

Wow! This was sooo good! I'm absolutely in love with this series! From the first book until this one I'm totally enthralled with them. The characters are brilliant and these story lines have me up all night. Can't seem to put the book down for even a second. I love all the ghosts and the interaction with the humans. Walt is so lovable and his old fashionedness is so endearing. Everything about these books is absolutely brilliant!! Wish I could put into words how I feel!! Thank you Bobbi Holmes for writing this extraordinary series!!!! Please don't stop!!!!

Walt Marries Danielle

Slightly different from previous style. While Walt settles in to using Clint's Body, other's start coming out of the woodwork, each seeming to have cause to blackmail Clint. But one is bringing a gun to the party and that means another body. Still a solid story following canon, But a tad slower in pace and flash. Already got book 21.

Loved It

I do hope Walt and Danielle will act more like a couple in love...I felt the romance between them was actually less than it had been in other books. A few chaste kisses on the forehead - more like a couple that's been married 40 years than newlyweds. Other than that, it was another great installment in the Haunting Danielle saga.

This Is The Best One Yet

I don`t want to write any spoilers, but this is the best of the series which is already beyond terrific. These people have become so real that I may have to increase my meds. (Just kidding 😉). I suspect that the new neighbor is in for a special treat. Can't wait for the next exciting episode. Write faster, please.

A fascinating book!

I have read all 20 books, and it's the best series I have ever read, the characters are true to life and connected some ways in the previous books. A must read. I'm looking forward to the next book, but I don't understand that it says 16 pages? All of her books were 40 chapters, but will buy it any ways.

Another in a wonderful series

As many others have already written, Bobbi Holmes does it again with her 20th (yes, 20th!) instalment in the Haunting Danielle series. Read it all in a day because I simply could not put it down. So glad to know that the series will continue with Book 21. I've pre-ordered it and am so looking forward to it.

Love it!

I have read every book in the series. I love them l! This installment is about the wedding of Danielle and Walt. It is also the story of certain individuals that are set to destroy Walt and his association with Danielle. I love the subplot with the new annoying neighbor. Recommended!
