This was a gift to my wife. We were looking over the glasses when they arrived. She absolutely loved them. The fit was perfect for her so there was no need to use the provided spacers to make them tighter. The cables seem to be of good quality, and the case is very nice and sturdy. The picture quality is good and the overall field of view is good. She also enjoys using them just as sunglasses.

Install Flash Player We all know what happened with Google Glass. It was overpriced and somewhat aesthetically clunky. And then of course there were the privacy concerns. It was incredibly fascinating technology, but likely a case of too much too soon. People simply weren't ready. One feature of Google Glass that was particularly useful and well regarded, however, was its ability to capture videos from eye level. That made capturing those special moments more natural and, thanks to the viewpoint, more personal. That's the sole functionality of the Gogloo 10MP Video Camera on Glasses device, aka, "FULL 1080P HD Sport Digital Recorder Eyewear" (they really need to work on the naming). And it does it with attractive, versatile styling, as well as a low price. Five years after Google Glass, it also does so with better video quality. Despite the low price, the Gogloo video camera glasses is still a premium package. In the box, you get the glasses themselves, a 16GB microSD card, a microSD to USB card reader, a hard glasses case, a soft glasses case, a microfiber cleaning cloth, two rubber gaskets in case you like a tighter fit, and glasses straps in case you need to make sure your glasses absolutely do not fall off (extreme sports anyone?). That's a heck of a bundle (there's also a microUSB charging cable included, but I can't seem to locate mine; fortunately, that's about as standard of a cable as you can get). Operation is simple. Charge the glasses, insert the included microSD card, and you're ready to go. When you want to record, simply press the on/off button for one second. The green LED will light and then after a few more seconds the glasses will vibrate. The green LED will then flash slowly and your recording will have begun. Short press the on/off button to stop recording. While this sequence might take a little time to get the hang of and it does take a little longer than I might like to get going with the actual recording part, it does work as expected. The frame of the glasses is made of a combination of plastic and rubber in all black. It's quite stylish and looks like a slightly thick pair of regular sporty sunglasses. The 1.8mm shaded lenses are polarized and meet or exceed all standard optical requirements, as well as being shatter-proof and impact-resistant. The lenses can also be swapped out with optional lenses, for instance with a Clear set, if say, you'd like to record yourself working on something indoors, like for a video tutorial. There are also Blue and Yellow lenses available if you'd like to change styles. As you can tell from the videos, indoors or out, and with different lighting conditions, the quality is quite good. It records 1080p video (1920x1080, 16:9) at 30 frames per second. The microphone is sensitive enough to pick up both your own voice and any ambient sounds. While the number of recordings is only limited by the size of the memory card you use (if not just the one included in the package) and internal battery capacity (it lasts about three and a half hours between charges), each single video recording is limited to 30 minutes. Of course, it will seamlessly start another 30 minute video recording after the first one finishes. Most videos you'll take will no doubt be less than 30 minutes each anyway. Video file types are standard MP4's, which can be used just about anywhere with just about anything. Accessing the files is as easy as removing the microSD card from the glasses and using a card reader (either your own or the one included) on your computer to copy over the files you want. If you're looking for a solid pair of discrete, attractive video recording glasses, the Gogloo makes for a great choice. It's inexpensive, high quality in both build and function, looks great, and comes as a truly complete package. Pluses: - Inexpensive - Value-packed, complete bundle - Memory card and card reader are included - Easy-to-use - Stylish - Durable - Interchangeable lenses are an option Minuses: - Does not take photos - There's a slight delay before it begins recording Summary: If you're looking for video recording glasses with great features and style, these are the ones.

In September, I posted the following review: "On June 3, 2018, I received a pair of Gogloo 1080P Sport Digital Recorder Eyewear that I'd ordered from Amazon. When they were charged, I biked to the park and took some wonderful videos. I've taken VERY good care of these glasses because I really love them, but now, after just a couple of months, they won't hold a charge and no longer record. I don't know what to do so if anyone can help me I'd appreciate any advice. Until then, I'm wearing a rather expensive pair of sunglasses. UPDATE: Almost immediately after I posted this review, the company representative contacted me and said they could be fixed. You can't beat that kind of response. I've just sent the glasses to them and hope to be able to give them 5 stars because, as I said, I really love these glasses". Now its a couple of weeks later and my Gogloo Glasses are back and I have them on the charger. The company was wonderful about repairing (I suspect they actually replaced) the glasses and keeping me informed all along the way. It is so long since I've enjoyed this kind of service, I want to thank Gogloo's management for a job well done.

Install Flash Player What I Like About Them: - The picture quality is great. They do indeed record at 1080p and the clarity of the video is fantastic. - They perform well in not-so-dry environments. I used these on my last fishing trip to Tampa Bay where there was a light rain all day. The glasses performed well, with no hiccups, in the saturated environment. - You get roughly 70-80 minutes of record time on a fully charged battery. My total record time was almost 80 minutes on a fully charged battery. These 80 minutes accounted for 7 GB of data, so after a charge, I could have recorded another 80 minutes without erasing the previously recorded video. - They're lightweight. Coming in at 2oz, they feel like any other pair of high-quality sunglasses with glass lenses (comparing to my 580G Costas.) - They're comfortable. Sure, they're a little bulky (and stick out the sides of your head) but they're essentially a go-pro on your face, so bulky is expected. - It's easy to pause and resuming recording. To record, hold the power button down until the green light flashes. To stop, hold the power button down again until. To resume, hold the power button down until the green light flashes. They're very simple to operate. What I don't like about them: - You have to force yourself to tilt your head down while you're looking down, otherwise, they do not record the full view. Because the camera lens is positioned at the top of the nose-piece of the glasses, you don't realize that you're not necessarily recording exactly what you're looking at. As you can see in the video, the entire bottom of the field of view is cut off because my eyes would view down while my head stayed up, causing the lower half of the field of view to go unrecorded. I guess this is why most people recording action shots have the go-pro strapped to their chest. I think these glasses would be PERFECT if the camera lens was angled slightly down to accommodate where the user is actually looking, but in the meantime, I'm going to have to teach myself to tilt my head down while wearing these and recording. Conclusion: - These are a lot of fun to use and I'm going to give them another try on my next fishing trip, remembering to tilt my head down, when I look down, to capture the true perspective. I am glad I made the purchase as they are more convenient, and less hassle, than strapping on a go-pro. - At $80, you're paying for a recording device, not a pair of sunglasses. Don't expect these to out-perform Costa Del Mar, Smith, Oakley, etc. - The concept is cool and when better technology allows for extended battery life and longer records, I think these could replace go-pros for fishing.

Wow ! These glasses are pretty cool. The quality of the camera and the footage is fantastic. I will be loading a video I took with them as soon as I figure out how to do it . They are easy to use and they are decent at blocking wind on the motorcycle. You have to plug the sd card into a computer to get the video which is fine and if I had to list any complaints or concerns it would be that I would like to be able to see what I am recording on my phone . It would be awesome to make a pair like these more suited for riding a motorcycle. So really not complaints because the product delivers everything the seller says it does and I am really happy with them . I took this picture with them . I will upload a video soon as well.

Press the button to record, and press again to stop, and that's it. You get 90 minutes approximately, on a full charge, for recording time. You can charge while using, and record longer videos, if needed. Definitely gets five stars from me, and I recommend this product to anyone looking for 1080P HD recording sunglasses. A+

Install Flash Player I bought these glasses as an alternative from using my cell phone camera to record our motorcycle bike rides. Hands-Free, wonderful color, videos are beautiful, and the voice recording is very clear. These Gogloo glasses are very easy to use. They are also perfect to use when you are driving your car and with the option to change the lens to clear or a different color giving you the option to wear them inside of a building and you just look like you're wearing a cool pair of glasses. Remember to turn them off after each recording and then turn them back on whenever you are ready to begin recording again. I fully charged them 3 times at seperate times before I used them to record just as the instructions said and they have worked perfectly. You can even charge them while driving your car with your car charger and they will be ready to use when you are ready for them. These glasses are a ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE! gonna purchase a second pair for my husband.

I absolutely LOVED these glasses, and used them for a whole variety of tasks; I'd wear these while driving as a sort of "on board dash cam", since a lot of times people aren't paying attention to the road; using their phones is the main reason, so I'd have these recording in case if they tried to go ahead, when it was my turn to drive in a four-way and they hit me, I'll have proof that they were in the wrong and I was following the rules to a T. I also use these for when I travel and go to events too, and the sound and video quality was great; I could hear voices clearly and see everything just as well too; It was also great that it came with a 16gb micro-sd card to start recording right out of the box, but I bought a 32gb card just to make the most of its max storage capacity. Transferring the video files from sd card to computer was easy too. Now onto the the bad news; I bought these back on June 25, 2018 and up until today (September 9th), everything was working fine; whenever I try to turn the glasses on now, they don't vibrate anymore to indicate when they are on or off, and the green light only stays on for a few seconds and then turn off. I tried charging the glasses, resetting them, and even reformatting the sd card; none of the troubleshooting methods solved my problem, so I'm going to have to chalk it up to an internal hardware problem, and try to contact Gogloo and see about a replacement. Fortunately, these glasses come with a 1 year warranty, so I should be covered for a replacement; I will update this review when I make contact with the seller and get some help. It's a shame these glasses started messing up, as I really loved them and would've gladly recommended them to anyone; it was great to be able to record while traveling or vlogging hands-free. UPDATE: So I contacted Gogloo about the issue, and wanting to use the warranty to have the glasses repaired on the September 10th; customer service was quick to respond, and told me that the glasses were still eligible for the warranty, and I could send them back for repairs; I mailed it back to them the same week via USPS (September 13th), and was told it would take an additional week or two for the necessary troubleshooting/diagnosis, to find and fix the issues; about 2 weeks later on September 25th I received a message from customer service, telling me the issue was some kind of "programming error", and that they would be sending me a new pair of glasses; they sent me a tracking ID via USPS, and told me the replacement would arrive in a couple of days. I just received the glasses today (October 5th), and after testing them out for about an hour; using them as an "improvised dash-cam" while driving around town, I can happily say that the replacements work great!! The glasses vibrate whenever I start/stop recording, and the audio and video quality are great too, so I'm changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars; the glasses were already great to begin with, but Gogloo went above and beyond with their customer service, and from my experience that deserves a star by itself! I still love these glasses and I'd still recommend them for hands-free, high-quality recording! I'll update my review if anything else happens, but here's hoping I won't have to.

With summer coming we have a lot of plans with family. My nieces and nephew will be coming to visit and we always try to plan exciting trips for them. I thought it would be fun to have an easy way to record or adventures without having to lug around a selfie stick or have a camera in my hand the entire time preventing me from really enjoying our adventures. I really thought that these 10MP Video Glasses by Gogloo Tech would be fun to have with us. These glasses come nicely displayed in retail packaging with the basic information on the outside of the packing. Inside of the box are the glasses, a 16G Toshiba SD card, a micro USB charging cable, an SD to USB stick, a cleaning cloth, a soft case, a hard case with a carabiner, a head strap, and instructions. I had 2 SD to USB sticks in mine but that appears to have been an accident. The glasses are really easy to use. The camera is in the center of the frames. There is a port cover on the left side that covers the SD card port and micro USB charging port. The SD card slides right in and locks in. To remove it, just press it in and it pops out enough to be pulled out. Next to the ports is a power button. The power button turns it on and off. The glasses vibrate to alert different things. Each set of vibrations indicates power on, power off, low battery, and low memory. The instructions indicate what each set of vibrations mean. The glasses last for about 90 minutes of recording time on a charge. When you get done recording you can easily put the SD card into the SD to USB stick and plug that into your computer. The lenses of the glasses can be removed if need be and the camera will still work. There is also an elastic head strap included which grabs onto the arms of the glasses and has a clip so you do not have to keep readjusting them each time you put them on and take them off. This is very convenient. The hard case is great to keep them from getting crushed and the carabiner allows it to attach to a bag, a purse, or a belt loop. If there is not a risk of them getting crushed and you just want to keep dust off of them, the soft case is perfect for that. I use both at once for extra protection, plus I can keep other things in the case without worrying about scratching up the lenses. The video and sound quality are great for being such a small camera. I have just been playing with it around the house and around the neighborhood so far. We haven't had a big adventure yet. I keep them in my car in case something occurs that needs recording. These would be perfect for someone who's being harassed to keep a video diary of what is happening. My mom has already requested to borrow these on her next vacation. They went parasailing and she said that these glasses would have been ideal to record their experiences. I am highly impressed with these and look forward to the memories we get to make with them!

UPDATE: I was a victim of road rage on 2.5.19 - had my video glasses on! 😄 All of the driving was caught on video and the driver will be formally charged!!! All I can say is I was skeptical about these video glasses because of the few negative reviews. Boy am I glad I went ahead and bought/tried them! The glasses are lightweight and comfortable to wear. I have a smaller face, but these glasses fit me great! I purchased the glasses to video tape harassment I am experiencing from long term disability company. I will be able to get the proof I need to stop the harassment. These will definitely meet my needs for this. All I can say is awesome video footage for the price! The battery has to be fully discharged for full charging- meaning drain the battery and recharge about 3 times for full battery power. The mini SD card (16mb) holds enough video for the duration of the battery! So far I taped 45 minutes, and this is my 2nd time recording. I will still buy a 64mb mini SD card to hold more video footage. Very easy to set up and use. I love the vibration feature letting you know when it is on and when it shuts down. The wide angle video coverage is ample to see about 180°. For the car I will need move my sight line down some to get the license plates, but for normal line of sight these are just fine. Downloading the videos are just as easy with the USB adapter that comes with the glasses. People have asked about taking still photos with the glasses. You cannot achieve this while the card is in the glasses, but you can freeze the video as you watch it and take a screen shot to capture a still frame photo. I am also looking forward to using the glasses when biking to share all the wildlife and beautiful things I see while riding along the rivers. Also for fishing, when we pull in the big ones! 😉 I ordered clear lenses so I can record when inside. I think I will have fun using these video glasses and I am very happy with the quality! UPDATE: No regrets buying these glasses! I have used them nearly every day for almost a month now and have had no problems! The lens are very easy to change from sunglasses to clear lens.
